Thomas Makey

Tom spends his time meeting and investing into fast growing, early stage private companies, and then working with the founders to help grow their businesses and achieve their ambitions.

He 'loves the process' of getting to know entrepreneurs, seeing the passion and drive they have for their products and having the opportunity to be part of their growth journey.

Examples of companies he has been involved with include SilkFred, Pointr, YourWelcome, RevLifter and Rockfish.

After graduating with a degree in Biology from the University of Bristol he joined KPMG, working across a number of departments with a focus on private equity transactions and completing his Chartered Accountancy qualification. He then moved to Livingbridge VC in 2015, who were then acquired by Gresham House in 2018.

When not in the office, Tom spends his time with his young family and, when time allows, sailing or skiing.
